The inspiration for this collection came from a wooden bowl that our founder's father handcrafted when he was just twelve years old. Striking simplicity, the bowl features two deep scored lines around the top. Incorporating this decoration into our stoneware collection, we elevate its shapes and glazes to embody understated beauty.
The simple design of the two lines served as the foundation for this collection. The relief between the lines enhances the otherwise perfect simplicity of the shapes and glazes. The plates are designed to balance between rimmed and coup styles, and the continuous lines around the edges create a stunning and practical piece.
Canvas Home spent days in the glaze room in Portugal mixing this soft blue for the first time. When paired with creamy white, this collection captures the essence of spring and summer freshness.
